From the SCORE North Central Indiana Chairman

Our chapter, formed in 1972, offers mentoring assistance.  Our mentoring volunteers are veteran business owners and/or business leaders by providing confidential, no-cost business mentoring services.  We lead workshops to help small business entrepreneurs meet their goals and achieve success.

SCORE is a national organization, founded in 1964, and is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), with 300+ chapters in the United States, staffed by over 11,000 volunteers nationwide.  Every year SCORE volunteers help thousands of entrepreneurs start small businesses and achieve new levels of success in their existing businesses.  Volunteering at SCORE North Central Indiana is a way for you to give back to our community, connect with fellow business owners, and pass on your knowledge and expertise to the next generation of entrepreneurs. 

To help us serve more clients we are seeking volunteers to assist small businesses with start-up, expansion, or general counseling and volunteers to support chapter operations.  Join a dedicated, collegial group of business-savvy volunteers in assisting with the economic development of our area.  Whether you have owned a small business, come from a Fortune 500 company, are retired, or still working, and have a sincere commitment for helping small businesses, there is a place for you as a SCORE Michiana volunteer.

For many Americans, small business ownership is the American dream.  SCORE North Central Indiana helps entrepreneurs establish new businesses, create jobs, and realize their dreams.
